  • Designs and executes cost‑reduction, productivity, and efficiency programmes across multi‑entity environments.

  • Builds and scales AI Centres of Excellence (CoE) to embed automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled ERP/finance systems.

Investor Relations, Capital Raising & Financial Institutions:

  • Manages PE/VC and institutional investor relationships, fundraising processes, and capital allocation strategy.

  • Leads engagement with banks and financial institutions to secure financing, optimise capital structure, and manage credit lines.

Corporate Governance & Board Engagement:

  • Advises Boards and Committees on governance, risk, compliance and strategic decision‑making.

  • Crafts high‑impact Board communications, reporting packs and regulatory disclosures.

Financial Control, Compliance & FP&A:

  • Oversees financial control, budgeting, forecasting and performance management across complex organisations.

  • Ensures compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 101/102, ISSB, AIM, LSE, SEC, FCA, ISM, ICMA GBP, UK MAR, TCFD, SASB, and GRI.

  • 22+ years- ERP implementations: SAP/ S4/ Hana, MS365 and NetSuite/ Oracle, etc… TMS: Quantum, IT2, Reval. Used Bloombergs and Reuters. Covered core ERP finance, spend management, CRM and customer data, supply chain management, human capital management, platform management.

  • 17+ years- undertaken large scale/ multi-national/ multi-site Finance and Business Change and Transformations programmes (people, systems, processes). Also covered off P2P, S2P, O2C, R2R and R2R technical areas as SLO and GPO. Embedding new ways of working (using lean/ agile techniques), cultural people change (the how to) and TOM/ organisational design.

  • 26+ M&A targets (15-buy and 7-sell), modelling and valuation, project planning, close process and integration into acquirer. 4 X LBO and LBI and exit to (re)financing.

  • 23+ years experience in equity fundraising (via VC, series A to C, Private placements, IPO, Right-Issue, Bonus Scripts) for turnaround and recovery programmes, M&A, trade sale/ buys, spin/ carve-outs, corporate finance transaction solutions. Divestments, asset stripping/ buying and disposals. Cash crisis management. Voluntary delisting.

  • 6 IPO programme listing on NASDAQ/AIM/LSE/SMI - in variety of roles/ capacity covering: GAAP conversion and audit sign off, PMO preparation and planning, set the governance framework to start key OE IPO success boosting projects, working on preadmission documents with advisers to cover off financial/ legal DD and verifications, investor roadshow presentation of journey/ storyboard, pre-emptive Q&A from investors/ investment banks/ brokers/ underwriters.

  • 21+ years PQE as a qualified fellow Treasurer (FCT).  Debt financing: ESG Finance (and it ratings), RCF, senior loans, mezzanine loans, medium-term facilities, bank guarantees, lines of credit, bond issuance, convertible debt, asset-backed securitisation/ commercial paper. Cash management: Pooling, Investing and Forecasting. Trade Financing (factoring, LC, LG). Asset-based financing (sale and leaseback, inventory). Set up and run operational Treasury functions (front, middle and back) to minimise risk volatility by engineering sophisticated treasury risk hedging strategies using inflation, FX, interest rate and commodity derivative instruments. Tax planning in a treasury context.

  • 25+ years SME on IFRS & US GAAP, consulted worldwide on technical accounting issues for VC/PE-Backed, NYSE, NASDAQ and FTSE 10-350 groups on the selection and application of technical standards, complex technical reporting/ solutions and FPPP/ US and UK SOX/ COSO/ ICFR.

  • 9+ years in climate intensive related companies. Worked on Climate Change transition and transformation programme work and annual reporting under ISSB, TCFD, SASB, UNEP and GRI frameworks.
